Tom Newby is a Partner on the Secondary team primarily focused on the origination, evaluation, and execution of secondary opportunities including partnership and GP-led transactions.
Tom joined Lexington as a principal in 2007 from Montgomery & Co, where he was a Managing Director and the Head of Principal Investing at the investment bank. Prior to that, he was a general partner of Technology Crossover Ventures. Tom graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BS in Business Administration and from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with an MBA.
